NCRI STRONGLY CONDEMNS THE VISIT OF MS. MOGHERINI & OTHER EUROPEAN OFFICIALS TO IRAN

members of the European Parliament have strongly condemned the human rights violations committed by the Iranian regime, Some politicians still play the appeasement policy when it comes to the Iranian regime.  In a joint statement, some European MP’s blasted Tehran for its abysmal human rights record.  During Rouhani’s last tenure 3000 prisoners were executed, Iran has the highest number of executions per capita.

The MP’s added that Rouhani’sminister of justice is a self-confessed murderer who was a member of the Death Committee, ordering the executions of over 30 000 political prisoners in 1988, mostly members of MEK/PMOI. The MP’s called for an investigation of the 1988 massacre, lead by the UNHCR and the Human Rights Council. 

Despite that, On August 5, 2017,  several European politicians have plans to attend the Inauguration Ceremony in Iran. The most prominent of the visitors are Federica Mogherin.
